Measuring Your Research Impact Online
Research impact is often measured using quantitative methods such as citation counts, the h-index, and journal impact factors; impact can also be evaluated qualitatively. Recently, the increasing popularity of social media platforms has provided some new and different ways (‘altmetrics’) for looking at research promotion, usage, and potential impact. In this webinar, we will explore traditional metrics, 'altmetrics.’ and some popular bibliographic management tools for collecting and organizing your publications and supporting literature.
